Stone Soup in Burlington, VT

I was a little disappointed eating lunch here, and maybe would have given it a three if I had not had any expectations. My step sister used to be a vegan, and so she enjoys eating here. I am someone who likes to cook with and enjoy everything, so I cook with and enjoy both tofu and seitan which looked like the two protein products they use the most. My mom had a vegan Indian stew when we went that she said was a little bland. I had two different kinds of tofu which were both okay. I had some garlic broccoli that was a little syrupy and may have been a little overpoweringly garlicky, which is something I don’t usually find myself saying. I also got some salad with fresh veggies. The veggies were of good quality, but when our food was weighed, we definitely ended up paying more than it was worth. I found it all to be okay, but the prepared foods could have been a little more exciting considering the flavor profiles they were aiming towards.
